    Visualizing daylight properties of a room

    Das Programm berechnet und zeigt die Tageslicht-Eigenschaften eines Raums, sowie den Bedarf an elektrischer Beleuchtung.
    Grafik-orientierte Eingabe der Geometrie von Raum, Fenster und externer Verschattung. Sobald eine Eingabe verändert wird, zeigt das Programm sofort die Wirkung auf das Tageslicht und auf den Strombedarf. Das Programm ist vorwiegend für Vortrag, Ausbildung und Lehre konzipiert. In englisch; z.Zt. keine Dokumentation.
    Benötigt Windows 2000 oder höher (9x und Vista nicht getestet).

    A program calculating and displaying the daylight properties and electrical light demand of a room.
    Graphical input of room, windows, external obstruction geometries. Whenever the input is modified the program immediately shows the effect on daylighting and electricity demand. The program is mainly designed for presentation and education.
    English, no manual at present.
    Requires Windows 2000 or higher (9x and Vista not tested).

    Software-Modul für Berechnung des Tageslichtanteils der Beleuchtung
    Software module calculating the daylight fraction of lighting

    Ein Software-Modul, das den Tageslichtanteil der Beleuchtung und den Energieaufwand für die elektrische Ergänzungsbeleuchtung berechnet.
    Eingabe-Daten: Tageslicht-Koeffizienten (z.B. aus SuperLite oder nach DIN 5034), Nennbeleuchtungsstärke, Tagesprofil der Nutzung, stündliche diffuse Globalstrahlungsdaten (Daten für Frankfurt/M. integriert). 'DL_frac' besitzt keine eigene Nutzeroberfläche, sondern ist als Rechenmodul für Software-Systeme entwickelt und kann über eine Eingabedatei gesteuert werden.
    Programmbeschreibung und Benutzungsbedingungen sind in der beigefügten pdf-Dokumentation enthalten. Benötigt Windows 95 oder höher.
    'DL_frac' ist auch Bestandteil der Tages- und Kunstlicht-Software 'Primero-Licht' (weitere Information zu 'Primero' auf den Seiten von ALware ).

    A software module calculating the daylight fraction of lighting and the energy demand for electrical lighting.
    Required input data: daylight factors (e.g. from SuperLite), required indoor illuminance, user day profile, hourly diffuse global radiation.
    'DL_frac' does not show a visual program surface, but it is intended for integration into software systems and can be controlled by its input file.
    A detailed description and the terms of use are given in the pdf manual included with the program (at present only in german, sorry!). Requires Windows 95 or higher.
    'DL_frac' is also part of the lighting software 'Primero-Licht' (for more info about 'Primero' see the pages of ALware ).
